Fundraisers
Current MCDSA Fundraisers
MCDSA is currently running a fundraiser inside the county, scheduled for March 13, 2010. It will be a "Battle of the Bands". The theme will be a Live Band Music competition and it will be held at the Mendocino County Fairgrounds in Boonville. Our promoter, Neal Enterprises (707) 703-0349, is currently actively seeking sponsors and donations by calling residents of Mendocino County. We hope to see you at the concert. Past MCDSA Fundraisers
MCDSA successfully completed our 2008 fundraiser Basketball game between the 49ers/Raiders and MCDSA Members.
The game was held on March 14, 2008 at 7:30 PM at the Ukiah High School.
We raised $5000.00 in donations and ticket sales. The proceeds were used to fund MCDSA scholarships for graduating high school students within Mendocino County.
We would like to thank everyone who participated by either playing or attending the game. The Mendocino County Deputy Sheriff's Association Axillary had a concession stand where they sold snacks and drinks. The profits when toward the Widows and Orphans Fund.
Our Fund raising Goals
Monies raised during our fundraisers go directly back into our community through scholarships awarded to graduating seniors from high schools throughout Mendocino County. MCDSA awarded over $3500,00 in scholarships to graduating seniors last year and over $5500.00 this year.
Please help us give back to our community.
